I am Scarlett Liu, a CMC freshman and an aspired young entrepreneur. My field of interest is digital mental health services, which I have been exploring since junior year in high school. As CEO, I founded Cuddle Box, a personalized self-care relaxation subscription box service, and raised more than $700 net profit within 5 months of launch. I am interested in utilizing technological resources and accommodating governmental policies, to provide equally accessible and effective mental health services across the country. More broadly, addressing the social issue of inequality with the help of technology, within and beyond the realm of mental health, is my career and internship aspiration. Specifically, I want to achieve my careers goals through entrepreneurial ventures and a job in consulting. I am currently working with the Kravis Leadership Institute as a Community Impact Research Assistant to help expand impacts of an African non-profit organization, YIYA Solutions. Innovating logic models, data collection methods, financial models, and conducting gap analysis are my strengths, which are very applicable to a career in consulting. I also have proficient communication skills. Participating in Mock Trial and Speech with years of experience enhance my persuasiveness consulting with business partners and customers for my startup. I am fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese and French, which allows me to consult with business partners with international backgrounds. Given my interests and specialities, I am very excited to be able to join this community of aspired entrepreneurs as a CIE Fellow. And, I am beyond delighted to continue making impact through entrepreneurship and consulting!
