Maddie is a member of the class of 2023 at Claremont McKenna College where she is studying Economics and Philosophy. Throughout high school her work in student government creating and coordinating the Feminism Campaign and Foster Care Support Program sparked an interest in how innovation and project management can intersect with engaging marginalized groups. Her experiences last summer interning at the start-up career coaching business Y-Age with CMC alumni Hani Cheng furthered an interest in marketing and business strategies of start-up companies. She is a member of both the Innovations Division and the Community Division of Claremont Women in Business, as well as the Student Engagement Committee of ASCMC. This year she hopes to learn more about product development, researching markets, and investmenting in start-ups. She is interested specifically in the opportunity for innovations in the entertainment and media industry, especially in the market of young consumers. She enjoys surfing, hiking, and skiing in her free time, and is excited to learn from and work with the other members of CIE.
