Maria is a sophomore at CMC majoring in data science and psychology. As an international student, she is super proud of her Egyptian identity and unique background. In her freshman summer, she worked remotely in an Ed-Tech startup in Barcelona, Spain. This internship helped her to discover her passion for technology and marketing. Maria aims to combine her understanding of humans from her psychology degree with her data skills to build a marketing career in the Tech Industry. She believes that the best way to learn something is by doing it, so she works hard to get multiple internships and try many different roles in different work environments while being in college. On-campus, she worked as a student intern in the Office of Alumni & Parents Engagement. Besides, Maria is a research assistant at the Berger Institute and a member of the College Programming Board. She is very excited to join the CIE community to grow personally and professionally and develop her network through the CIE’s connections. In her free time, Maria enjoys watching Netflix, socializing with friends, and reading.
