Product Management – How to Convert an Opportunity into Solutions Worth Paying For

Paige Costello, CMC ’12, will lead the workshop. She will introduce the field of product management and help students learn how to convert an opportunity into solutions worth paying for. Students will learn how to define problems, scope solutions, and think about prioritization and trade-offs to make their ideas a reality. The workshop will cover idea validation, development, and touch on product-market fit.

Paige is a Director of Product Management at Intercom, a customer messaging platform in San Francisco. She leads the SF product team, which is responsible for the experience of the Messenger and the customer lifecycle from discovery to on-boarding to activation. Before Intercom, Paige led product teams for QuickBooks, Intuit’s small business accounting product. Paige has also worked in Payments and supported startups at a user experience consultancy. She’s obsessed with building products customers love and building strong teams that find joy in the process.

The workshop will count as a full credit towards the Fellows Certificate.
