Join us for an exclusive lunch with the founding team of, Ease VR, a pioneering purpose­-built analytics platform for digital realities. The Ease VR founders and Gamiel Gran (Parent ’16) will delve into the experience of starting a company in a new space, the experience of both Accelerator Programs and raising VC funding.

Have a chance to experience a Virtual Reality experience for yourself! The second half of the lunch is dedicated to VR demos from various different Head Mounted Displays (HMD) and software applications. Take your pick and prepare to be transported to another world!

Fred Spencer – Co founder, CDO (Design and Engineering)

Fred started in 92′ designing and implementing BBS interfaces and GUI desktops. He specializes in  information design, architecture, and the human I/O of it all. He is passionate about leveraging tech to better identify and understand cognitive and environmental patterns and how this understanding can lead to new and positive advancements for humanity. His interests are in interactive surfaces, VR/AR/MR, BCI, data viz/analytics, wearables, and IoT/IoE.

Most recently he worked as an Experience Architect R&D, Sr UI/UX Architect and Enterprise Design Lead, at Appcelerator, a leading mobile platform company.  While at Appcelerator, he was involved as lead designer, architect and developer building an analytics platform for measuring user experience and an analytics mobile app which aggregated information across the enterprise. Prior to Appcelerator, he was a digital media instructor at Rhode Island School of Design, Continuing Education.

 Prithvi Kandanda (PK) – Co founder, COO (Operations and Business Development)

Prithvi is an entrepreneurial software executive with over 20 years of experience specializing in operations and business development for software companies spanning mobile, SaaS and software services.He has proven leadership across complex global software business programs supported by technical & operational experience. Experience spans strategy, Immersive product and solutions development, enterprise mobile architecture and solutions, sales, business development, large account management, start-ups and business turnarounds. He has led teams to build mobile products with Scalable SaaS architecture and business models.

Most recently, he was the VP of enterprise mobile solutions at Winwire technologies and before that was the Director of enterprise mobile solutions at Appcelerator. While at Appcelerator he was responsible for mobile solutioning for fortune 100 enterprises and helping setup a worldwide partner channel.  Prior to that he has served as founder CEO, Vice President sales, Marketing and Business development across different companies.

Gamiel Gran, founder, investor and advisor (Strategy and Business)

Gamiel is a recognized leader with over 20 years of experience in operational roles leading business and corporate development. He is currently the chief strategy officer at Soasta. Prior to joining Soasta, Gamiel was a partner at Sierra Ventures, an early-stage technology focused venture capital firm, where he successfully expanded the performance of the overall portfolio in support of early market adoption for Sierra Venture’s investments. Gran has also held leadership positions that span a number of industry segments, including investing in early stage technology companies, launching channels and indirect sales models, and leading business and corporate development for industry leaders like IBM and Oracle.

Gamiel continues to provide strategic advice as a board member and advisor for early stage companies.  Gamiel also leads a CIO Thought Leadership & Innovation advisory board with the goal of identifying early stage technologies. Gamiel has more than 20 years of operational roles leading business and corporate development, strategic alliances, indirect channels, and direct sales for companies such as IBM, Oracle, BEA, Asera, Edify and Cassatt. He is a frequent speaker at industry events such as the Global CIO Summit, Start-Up Monthly, SVForum, SiliconAngel, Forbes, CITOReseach, and Strata Summit.  Gamiel has provided coaching, and fund raising guidance in formal and informal programs for various incubator and university entrepreneur programs including University of California at Berkeley, Stanford University, Washington State University, and Plug and Play, AngelPad, Citrix Startup, Accelerator, St. Louis IT Entrepreneur Network, Mexico Ventures, National Venture Capital Association and many others.
