Simrun Shroff ‘24 is from Westlake, Texas and is planning on dual majoring in Economics-Accounting and Psychology. She is interested in exploring how consulting and finance interact with entrepreneurship. Simrun is skilled in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word and is also fluent in Spanish and Gujarati. A few projects that she has worked on include HerStory Created, a book that aggregated 100 interviews with successful women in the business world such as Rebecca Minkoff, an Excel project that analyzed data from stocks, and ESL classes for native Spanish speakers. In addition to the CIE, Simrun is involved with Claremont Accounting Association as a Marketing Engagement Intern, Claremont Sustainability Consulting as an Associate Consultant, the Gould Center for Humanistic Studies as a Covid-19 Research Assistant in the Humanities Lab, Kravis Lab for Social Impact as a Community Impact Research Assistant, Pomona Consulting Group as an Associate Consultant, and Vector Data Analytics as an Analyst. Simrun enjoys spending her free time mountain biking, swimming, reading, and playing spikeball.
