CIE Startup Grant

Apply For the CIE Startup Grant Here
The CIE Venture Grants are designed to help 5C students get their startups off the ground by giving startups a small amount of capital to get their business going from day one. Grants can be used for anything from web hosting, domains, app developer licenses, software subscriptions, maker space dues, or anything you think would help you start your startup. After completing this application, potential grant recipients will need to meet with a member of the CIE Leadership team. The leadership team will give initial feedback on your pitch and work with you to create milestones. The grant is not a lump sum, the CIE will purchase the materials or software directly for your startup as deemed necessary by the mutually agreed upon milestones. Milestones will be unique to each startup and be based on each budget line item. Grants can be requested for up to $500, but additional sources of funding are available to students with more developed ventures. To be eligible for the grant, each venture team must have one current CMC student.
Please complete both pages of the application. A member of the CIE will be in touch within 1 to 2 weeks of receiving your application. If you have any questions please reach out to Aman Raghuvanshi (araghuvanshi18@cmc.edu) or Scott Sonneborn (ssonneborn17@cmc.edu).
