My name is Hunter Kettering and I’m a junior at Claremont McKenna College, a liberal arts college in southern California. My studies of Economics and History have enhanced both my quantitative and qualitative skills, allowing me to think interdisciplinary and synthesize ranging data and information to form my own thoughts and opinions. Additionally, my varying working experiences, including working as a business development and strategist for a top funded seed company in Argentina, Pago Rural, designer thinker for startups in a mission-driven incubator, Los Angeles CleanTech Incubator, financial analyst for the private equity and search fund, Kata Capital, and remote market researcher and venture capital intern for the world’s leading property technology venture capital firm, MetaProp NYC, I have increased my holistic business acumen. And currently, I’m interning through the Silicon Valley Program at an early stage VC fund, Tuesday Capital. Although my studies and experiences are relatively broad, I have been strategically exposing myself to many roles and industries to figure out my passions and understand my true skillsets, while simultaneously preparing myself for a career in entrepreneurship or assisting organizations from an operational standpoint.
